| Plasterers generally prepare walls for finishing. Internal walls, ceilings and floors are coated with different types of plaster so they are ready for painting and decorating. Outside walls made from stone or brick may be rendered or pebble dashed. Some plasterers can create ornamental plasterwork from fiberous plaster like ceiling roses, columns or decorative cornices. On larger projects they may follow designs and drawings produced by an architect or interior designer. Partition walls in houses are bulit with a wooden or metal frames which a plasterer can then screw plasterboard so the wall can be decorated. |
